Nolanville, TX – August 8, 2024 – The City of Nolanville is pleased to announce that, effectiveNovember 1, 2024, Waste Management will take over the City's trash, bulk, and recycling services.This change marks a significant enhancement in waste management services for our residents,including the introduction of curbside recycling.


Residents can look forward to several improvements under the new contract with Waste Management, which includes:


• Weekly Garbage Collection: Reliable, weekly curbside pickup of household trash.


• Every-Other-Week Recycling Collection: A new, convenient curbside recycling program that will alternate weeks, ensuring that residents have an easy way to contribute to environmental sustainability.


• Monthly Bulk Collection: Regular monthly bulk collection for those larger items that don’t fit in the standard trash bins.


• Hazardous Household Waste (HHW) Collection: Waste Management’s "At Your DoorServices" will provide an innovative solution for the safe and responsible disposal of hazardous household materials.


This transition from Texas Disposal Systems to Waste Management will bring enhanced servicesdesigned to better meet the needs of our growing community. The City of Nolanville is committed to ensuring a smooth transition, and further details will be provided as we approach the switch inservice providers.


Residents are encouraged to be on the lookout for additional updates as we prepare for this exciting upgrade to our City's waste management services.
