During the September 15, 2022, Nolanville City Council Meeting, Mayor Andy Williams presented Planning & Zoning commissioner Mr. Dean Huard and his family with a token of appreciation for his years of active-duty service and the family's commitment public service to the Community of Nolanville.
Over the years, the Huard family has lent their hands to several areas of development within the Nolanville Community. Their involvement has ranged from being a part of transportation planning meetings and events with Texas Target Communities with Texas A&M to board service. Dean currently serves on the Planning & Zoning board, and his wife Nancy serves on the Economic Development Corporation Board. Son Tyler, a student at Texas A&M University, spent his summer off working for the City of Nolanville's Public Works department.
Lieutenant Colonel Huard is a soon-to-be-retired Army Logistics Officer stationed at Fort Hood, TX, and is now completing an internship with the City of Georgetown. At the same time, he pursues his Graduate Certificate In Public Management at The Bush School of Government & Public Service.
The City of Nolanville again gives its deepest thanks to the Huard Family. Your commitment to the City of Nolanville is one of the many reasons we continue to be a "Great Place to Live"'
