On Saturday, August 6, 14 Nolanville Area volunteers came together to add a splash of color to a Habitat for Humanity new home build.
The Fort Hood Area Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, first raised the walls on this project in November 2021.
Since then, the homeowners, other Habitat program applicants, and community volunteers have helped where they could to help with this project.
While the inside is still being worked on, the deep red paint on the outside is an encouraging reminder of what’s around the corner for this family!
The City of Nolanville wishes to thank the volunteers that came out to help Habitat for Humanity and the Flores family. The enthusiasm and energy our residents have for this project are one of the main reasons that Nolanville is a “Great Place to Live.”
