TITLE: Mayor of Nolanville Declares June 2023 as Pride Month, and June 19th as Juneteenth Celebration Day.

NOLANVILLE, —Mayor Andy Williams has officially proclaimed June 2023 as Pride Month, embracing, and honoring the LGBTQ+ community, and has also proclaimed June 19th as Juneteenth Celebration Day, commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. These declarations demonstrate the City’s commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and fostering an environment of acceptance for all its residents.
Throughout the first half of June 2023, the lights at the Nolanville “Wonderpass” will be illuminated to a lighting scheme in recognition of Pride Month, before changing over to another pattern to honor Nolanville’s Juneteenth proclamation.
Both proclamations reflect the City’s commitment to embracing diversity and promoting inclusivity. It serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of acknowledging and commemorating historical milestones that have shaped our society, while striving for a more equitable future and a reminder of the ongoing work that remains to be done.
